Students who are at the beginner level can only start on official starting dates.

Grade 1-3: @$25/hour; $400/semester

(2-5 students/per class)

Grade 4-6: @$20/hour; $480/semester

(2-7 students/per class)

High School: @$20/hour; $640/semester

(2-9 students/per class)

Application Fee: $100/ per school year (2020-2021)

Material Fee: $5/ per week

CURRICULUM

GRAMMAR

Students will develop grammatical skills by practicing with exercises and assignments. Using communicative strategies, teachers will use level appropriated activities to keep students involved.

READING

Developing reading strategies to understand and resume different types of texts. Students will develop vocabulary skills and expressions as they study text only and texts with images documents.

WRITING

With a variety of structures, students will be able to write texts for different purposes with their audience in mind. The accent will be put on the academic writing process and the correct use of grammar.

SPEAKING

Using auditory and visual support, students produce clear and coherent languages to express agreement, disagreement, ideas, and messages. The accent is put on pronunciation and interaction with peers and teachers.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1 – Download Schoology

Schoology is a distance learning readiness kit that you can download learning materials, upload assessments, and check the webinar link. You will receive an invitation email that includes the course code from the instructors 10 minutes before the 1st class.

 

STEP 2 – Download Zoom

Zoom is an online platform for the face-to-face webinar. You will receive an invitation email that includes the zoom link from the instructors 10 minutes before the 1st class.

STEP 3 – Access to QuickSchool

Quicschool is a school management system, which allows you to check attendance, assessment scores and test/exam scores. You will receive an invitation email from the administration on the 1st week of school.

STEP 4 – Get Ready & Join the Class

For the best learning environment, we recommend you to prepare headphones or earphones and microphones before the class starts. You will receive invitation emails 10 minutes before your 1st class. If you didn’t receive any invitation emails, please contact us at info@umcollege.net.
